Nice bike! Hi, to me it depends if you use a 24 or a 26 rear wheel. With a 26, I put shock to lower position, with a 24 I used the higher position. In the front mount of shock, I use the highest one, the shock feels smoother this way. I try to keep the shock parallel with the downtube... For the drop out, I've always put it the farest so I get the maximum wheelbase at fast speed it helps. If it feel to slow in the cornering put it shorter.

yah I know that of course. it's build with 2008 parts so it's a 2008 version of it...if you prefer. the frame is a 2002.

Hello dhbasher. The lower shock mount on my Super 8 is loose due to the OEM threaded bolt. To fix this problem, is it as simple as put in a new bolt without threads in the bushing area? I see one of your comments make reference to a custom shuttle. What is that about? Do you have a picture? Thanks.

Yeah cool.

I guess mine is pretty much around 45 pounds. With the old setup, maybe more...

But with few more light parts it might be a bit lighter this year.

I'll weight it when it's ready.
